Fellowships
The Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Stanford University School of Medicine accepts applications each spring for one-year clinical Fellowships beginning the following July 1.
Description
The Fellowship comprises both clinical and non-clinical training wherein the goals are to offer an intensive learning experience covering all aspects of clinical and laboratory hematopoietic cell transplantation and prepare individuals for an academic career in the field. In addition, Fellows will be encouraged to become integrated into a clinical research project and mentored so that they can gain experience in data analysis, manuscript writing and submission. Outstanding research opportunities exist in the area of hematopoietic cell transplantation at Stanford University and Fellows have the possibility of extending their Fellowship two additional years by training in one of the many basic research laboratories associated with the BMT Program.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be made based on a review of the applicant’s prior experience, letters of recommendation and a personal interview.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status and be able to obtain a California medical license. American Board eligibility in Hematology or Oncology is preferred.
